Downtown Ambassadors
If you explore downtown Phoenix, you are likely to see a Downtown Ambassador strolling the sidewalks or pedaling a bicycle. Easy to spot in their bright-orange shirts, these friendly men and women are on duty seven days a week to assist visitors and promote safety.
Ambassadors give directions, are trained in First Aid and crime prevention, and they are happy to share their knowledge about local attractions, restaurants, theaters, hotels and shops. They can even help you make dinner reservations and find event tickets.
They’re around every day of the year from 6:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. Mon.–Fri., and 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sat.-Sun., completely free of charge. You can find them walking downtown Phoenix in bright orange shirts, or find stop in their Information Center on Adams Street between Central and 1st Avenues in the US Bank Building.
You can also call their hotline at 602-495-1500, text “ASK” to 25866 (standard messaging rates may apply), or email them at ambassadors@downtownphx.org.
