RSS Feeds

What Is RSS?

RSS means Really Simple Syndication or Rich Site Summary. When you subscribe to an RSS feed, you'll receive in your feed reader a list of information and links to recently published web content such as news and events. These feeds are updated with new content, enabling you to keep up-to-date on new content on your favorite websites.

To subscribe to an RSS feed, you must use a feed reader, a customized page like Google Personalized Homepage, or a browser with an RSS plug-in like Firefox, Internet Explorer 7, and Internet Explorer 8. These browsers will display the contents of the feed in an easy-to-use interface that includes tools, such as the ability to sort the items by title and date, to help you navigate through all of the items in the feed.
