Rules & Regulations

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. Eligibility. Contest open to USA residents, 18 years or older at the time of entry, except employees of The Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau (GPCVB), The Arizona Republic., promotion sponsors, and each of their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with such employees.

3. Online Entry. The "SummerScapes Sweepstakes (the "Contest") will begin Sunday, May 15, 2011. All entries must be received by 5:00 PM (mountain standard time) Thursday, June 30, 2011. To enter, complete the Online Entry Form at www.summervalues.com. No mechanical reproductions permitted. Entering the contest more than once will not increase your chances of winning. GPCVB will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or otherwise illegible entries.

4. Prizes and Odds. Eight (8) winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries to be held on or about 7/15/11. Reservations for all packages subject to availability and blackout dates (i.e. holidays).

• First Winner will receive the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch package: two-bedroom casita accommodations for a two (2) night/three (3) day get-away, subject to availability, including room & tax only; complimentary day at Camp Hyatt for two (2) children, ages 3-12, subject to availability; choice of 60-minute Avania massage or Hydra Memory facial or gentleman’s facial for two (2) people in Spa Avania, gratuity included; complimentary dinner for four (4) persons in the Alto ristorante e bar including a gondola ride along the resort's waterways, subject to availability, gratuity included; and a round of golf for four (4) at Gainey Ranch Golf Club (includes cart fees). Approx. value: $4,600. Package expires June 30, 2012 (not valid on holidays).
   
• Second Winner will receive the Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North: a two (2) night stay for two (2) guests in a one bedroom suite, featuring walk-in closets, gas burning fireplaces, oversized bathrooms with deep-soaking tubs, and a private balcony or terrace offering magnificent desert and valley views; two (2) complimentary appetizer and two (2) signature Troon Signature Margaritas in the Onyx Bar & Lounge and a dinner for two (2) in Talavera (alcohol not included). Approx. value: $4,340. Package expires June 30, 2012 (valid Sunday – Thursday, not valid on holidays).
   
• Third Winner will receive The Wigwam package: overnight accommodations for four (4) in a spacious Suite overlooking the newly renovated Lodge Pool; private poolside Cabana Party for four  (4) people including lunch and a round of cool drinks. Based on availability. Black-out dates apply. Approx. value: $1,200.00. Package expires September 30, 2012.
   
• Fourth Winner will receive the Arizona Biltmore package: two (2) night stay for two in Ocatilla Club Deluxe Accommodations; dinner for two (2) at Frank & Albert’s (includes tax, daily resort charge & gratuity, excludes incidentals & alcohol). Approx. value: $1,200.00. Package expires June 30, 2012 (not valid with other promotions, discounts, group rate, travel packages, special events, or holidays as determined by the resort).
   
• Fifth Winner will receive the InterContinental Montelucia Resort & Spa package: receive a two (2) night stay in Montelucia Signature Guestroom (based on availability, holidays excluded); choice of two (2) spa treatments in Joy Spa (50-minute Custom Massage or 50-minute Signature Facial). Approx. value: $1,000.00. Package expires April 30, 2012.
   
• Sixth Winner will receive the Pointe Hilton Resorts package: complimentary two (2) night stay either at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak or Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs, breakfast for two (2) and a $100 credit good at all outlets at either Pointe Hilton Resorts (cannot be used towards alcoholic beverages). Based on availability. Blackout dates and other restrictions may apply. Offer cannot be combined with any other offer. All other costs, including transportation, taxes and gratuities will be the responsibility of the winner. Approx. value: $858.00. Package expires May 31, 2012.
   
• Seventh Winner will receive the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess package: receive a three (3) night stay in a Fairmont Accommodation (includes room and tax only, subject to availability); two (2) Kid’s resort dining passes; two (2) full day passes to attend Bobcat Billy’s Clubhouse for kids (ages 5-12) and one (1) complimentary session at John Austin Center for Tennis for the whole family. • Eighth Winner will receive the Radisson Fort McDowell Resort package: one (1) night stay for two (2) in Deluxe King Accommodations (room and tax charges only), Breakfast for two (2) at Ahnala Restaurant (excluding alcohol; maximum $50.00 value) and $20 Radisson Bucks resort credit at Arizona’s ultimate destination. Subject to availability. Restrictions apply. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Cannot be used for group reservations. Not valid for in-room dining charges. Not valid at Fort McDowell Casino. No cash value. Not redeemable during holidays. Approx. value: $300.00. Package expires May 1, 2012.

All other costs, including transportation, taxes and gratuities will be the responsibility of the winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

5. Winner Notification and Acceptance. Winners will be notified by mail on or about 7/15/11. Winners may waive their right to receive a prize. Prizes are nonassignable, nontransferable, and have no cash value. No substitutions allowed, except that prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release except where prohibited by law, which must be returned within seven (7) days of date of notification. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release within seven (7) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may, at the sole discretion of the GPCVB result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of prize to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited, participation in the contest constitutes entrants consent to the publication of his or her name and image in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. 6. Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Contest Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsor. Should the Contest be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date. PRIVACY NOTICE: By entering this contest, each entrant consents to the collection by the Sponsor(s) of the information contained on the Entry Form.

7. Limitations of Liability. Restrictions: Dates are based strictly upon availability. Seasonality may result in restricted reservation times. Must present official notice of winning. By entering the Contest, entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (2) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorney's fees; and (3) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses.

8. Construction. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Contest Rules, or the rights and obligations of any contestant and Sponsor, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of Virginia, or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Virginia. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the invalidity or unenforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

9. General Release. By entering the Contest, contestants release the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau, and all other promotional sponsors, including each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light).

10. Sponsor. Sweepstakes is sponsored by the Greater Phoenix Convention & Visitors Bureau, whose decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Contest Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
