  1. Grossology at the Arizona Science Center

    Learn about the good, the bad, and the downright ugly functions of your body at Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body this summer! This exhibition uses incredible computer graphics and creative displays to bring the best-selling book Grossology, by Sylvia Branzei, to life. Some of the hands-on, interactive elements include becoming a dust particle to learn what causes sneezes, pumping soda into a huge cartoon character to understand the pressures in his stomach before he burps, sliding through a 30 foot long digestive system to see what the inside of your body looks like from mouth to large intestine and much more! Grossology: The (Impolite) Science of the Human Body, is located in the Sybil B. Harrington Galleries.
