Completed in 1935, Encanto holds the distinction of being the third oldest golf course in Arizona. Encanto is ideally suited for the average golfer. Its level fairways are wide and it has a limited number of hazards. It sports a relaxed atmosphere enhanced by the course's abundance of mature palm and salt cedar trees, plus some truly spectacular views of the downtown Phoenix Skyscape. If you're downtown for a convention and looking to play at the end of the day, Encanto is just minutes away and the perfect spot to work in a single. With a par 70, you can expect fast play. This traditional 18-hole championship course, designed by William P. Bell, provides a little bit of everything for the seasoned or not so seasoned golfer and has a full practice facility and club rentals.
