developing Greater Phoenix itineraries including Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa,
Sedona and Grand Canyon.
Additionally, travel agents are provided information for booking Greater Phoenix
accommodations,
transportation
and
sightseeing
opportunities. Travel Industry Sales cultivates clients at tour operator marketplaces, industry trade shows and through familiarization trips.

The department also works closely with the Greater Phoenix hospitality community to continually improve an already strong tourism product. Tourism is a $6 billion industry in Greater Phoenix ranking only behind the high-tech sector in terms of local economic impact.
