Press Coffee

Distance from Convention Center: 3 min walk, 1 min drive

Owned by a local news personality (hence the name “Press”), this coffee shop is a great place to stop and recaffeinate no matter what side of the city you find yourself on. This local roaster is serving its popular espresso, cold brew and pour-over varieties, and will soon add beer and wine to the menu.

Phoenix Coffee

Distance from Convention Center: 4 min walk, 2 min drive

This spot prides itself on having the very best products; fair trade, locally roasted small batch, Arabica beans, all hand blended for a sublime coffee experience. City Central Coffee is located at the Phoenix Convention Center North Building.

Cartel Roasting Co.

Distance from Convention Center: 5 min walk, 2 min drive 

You’ll know that your drink was carefully curated at this local favorite since each roast is hand-selected by a green buyer. Grab a fresh-baked pastry or grab-and-go lunch at the coffee shop on the corner of Washington and First streets.

Dapper & Stout

Distance from Convention Center: 5 min walk, 2 min drive

We love the grab-and-go options at Dapper & Stout - especially the “dapper morn bagel sandi” with scrambled egg, cheddar and a sausage patty on a perfectly toasted bagel. Compliment the savory sandwich with an indulgent mocha blended frappe - a perfect drink to cool off in the Phoenix summer.

Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii

Distance from Convention Center: 5 min walk, 3 min drive

Any coffee aficionado knows how highly regarded Kona coffee is — and now it's available locally. Born on the big island of Hawaii in 1989, this operation has been serving up cups of aloha in mainland since 1995.

Hidden Track Café

Distance from Convention Center: 8 min walk, 3 min drive

Hidden Track Café offers specialty food and beverages that extend beyond what you’ll find in chain retail and grocery stores. Try their horchata iced coffee or Japanese cold brew made daily. While you’re there you can also pick up some fine cheese, Noble Bread and pair with a bottle of wine and beer from the Hidden Track Bottle Shop next door.

Royal Coffee Bar

Distance from Convention Center: 9 min walk, 3 min drive

You’ll do a metaphorical bow after trying a drink at Royal Coffee Bar - with our favorites being the spicy chai latte and classic cortado. The family-owned and operated coffee bar serves specialty espresso drinks and unique pastries in a historic brick carriage house on the northeast corner of Heritage Square by the Arizona Science Center.

Serafina Coffee Roasters

Coming up on its one-year anniversary in the historic Luhrs City Center, Serafina Coffee prides itself on having the very best coffee: fair trade, locally roasted, small-batch Arabica beans, all hand-blended for a sublime coffee experience. And you can’t resist their gooey cookie for an afternoon pick-me-up.

With plenty of tables and comfy couches, this bright shop is one of our favorite places to work from. Use their quick WiFi, sip on a locally roasted cup of joe and enjoy the cool air conditioning at the Skyline Lofts cafe.

Kähvi Coffee + Cafe

Distance from Convention Center: 13 min walk, 4 min drive

This Scandinavian-and-Tulum-inspired coffee shop, inside the Monorchid in downtown Phoenix's Roosevelt Row, serves a variety of coffee, tea, beer, wine and kombucha, along with pastries, sandwiches and other light bites.
