Get the scoop on the who, what, when, where of downtown Phoenix's three-day music festival, M3F, returning in March 2024. 


What is it?

M3F (McDowell Mountain Music Festival) is a 100% nonprofit two-day music festival established in 2004. In a commitment to giving back, M3F has adopted a 3 C’s belief – community, culture, and charity. M3F has donated over $2 million since its start in 2004 and is completely run by volunteers. The festival has featured past headliners such as Odesza, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Empire of the Sun, Griz, Flume, Beck, Kid Cudi, Chromeo, Father John Misty, Grouplove, The Avett Brothers, The Revivalists, The Roots, The Shins, and Slightly Stoopid.

This year's lineup includes headliners Lane 8, Dominic Fike, Gorgon City, SG Lewis, Elderbrook and WhoMadeWho. 


When is it?

The festival occurs every year in the beginning of March. The 2024 festival takes place on March 1+2.

The festival takes places at Steele Indian School Park.


What time is it?

Friday: Gates open at 1:00 p.m. and the festival ends at 11 p.m.
Saturday: Gates open at 1:00 p.m. and the festival ends at 11 p.m.


What's the cost?

Single-day GA: Currently $85 + $21.48 fee
2-day GA: Currently $135 + $27.82 fee
2-day VIP: Currently $210 + $37.34 fee

What's the best way to get there?

The Valley Metro Light Rail's Central Avenue and Campbell stop is just a five-minute walk from the entrance. An all-day pass is just $4.

If looking to drive, there are parking garages and lots throughout Phoenix. Ride share programs also have a pickup and drop off locations directly next to the festival.

 

In addition to music, what else will be happening?

More than a dozen local vendors will be selling their wares; youngsters can unwind in the kids zone; watch art being made as local artists create pieces to the sounds of the music; and zen out with some relaxing yoga sessions before the music starts. 


How about food and drink?

Local restaurants and food trucks will be on hand, as well as cocktails from Bulleit Bourbon and Don Julio. There's also an exclusive beer garden featuring craft beers from Hensley.
