Catch a classic film in a timeless space!  Psycho (1960) is a cinematic classic set in Arizona. This Alfred Hitchcock thriller is about a psychotic motel owner who obsesses over his late, controlling mother while becoming the prime suspect in a murder case involving one of his recent guests, a pretty secretary who checked into the Bates Motel after impulsively stealing $40,000 and never checked out. *Please note that this program grants guests access only to the program location.

Night of the Living Dead at Orpheum Theatre

Spend Halloween night at Orpheum Theatre, for a showing of Night of the Living Dead.  Directed by horror master George A. Romero, Night of the Living Dead is a deceptively simple tale of a group of strangers trapped in a farmhouse who find themselves fending off a horde of recently dead, flesh-eating ghouls, Romero’s claustrophobic vision of a late-1960s America literally tearing itself apart rewrote the rules of the horror genre, combined gruesome gore with acute social commentary, and quietly broke ground by casting a black actor (Duane Jones) in its lead role.

Celebrate Halloween inside Phoenix’s own 1895 Victorian house. Explore the Rosson House and experience spooky and historic objects, including a mourning dress, wicker coffin, and a replica Ouija board. After exploring the house, check out crafts and stories in The Bungalow museum store where we will be sipping spiced cider, eating candy, and savoring desserts from the aptly named Vampire Penguin food truck. Costumes and photographs are encouraged for this unique Halloween event.

The Raven at the Rosson House Museum

The Raven, presented by PoeFest, returns the The Rosson House Museum at Heritage Square in Downtown Phoenix. The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe will be performed every 20 minutes in the main hall/grand staircase of a Gothic Victorian Mansion as on the spookiest night of the year. $20 per ticket will go to supporting the Rosson House Museum and Arizona Curriculum Theater's mission for arts education.

And several employees have even encountered - and in one case, conversed with - ghostly apparitions. Haunted Brewery Tours start at 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, September 26 – November 2, plus a special tour on Sunday, Oct. 30. Each ticket includes your tour, a small pitcher of Pumpkin Porter, and a commemorative T-shirt.
