Happy Easter weekend! We’ve got ways to celebrate the holiday plus a couple food and drink festivals and the end of spring training on our top things to do in Phoenix this weekend:
Last weekend of Cactus League Spring Training: Through April 4
This weekend is your last chance to get out to the ballpark and soak in the sun at a spring training game. The schedule is light with only three games each day Thursday through Saturday, including games at Chase Field both Friday and Saturday.
First Fridays Art Walk: April 3
It’s that time of the month, art fans. Dozens of art galleries and spaces throughout downtown—many near Roosevelt Row— and the Grand Avenue Arts District open their doors for free. Complimentary trolleys ferry guests about the area, and live music and food trucks can be found throughout the festivities.
Four Peaks Local Fest: April 4
It’s Four Peaks Brewing Company‘s birthday and they wanna throw us the party! Join the popular local brewery for the annual Local Fest for live music, BBQ, family-friendly activities, and plenty of their beers, including rare and seasonal brews.
Wingstock: Where Music and Chicken Meat: April 4
Restaurants from all around town will head to Mesa Amphitheatre on Saturday to show off their wing game. There will be myriad types of wings to dig into with local beers to wash them down. If merely filling up on wings isn’t enough, patrons can make like Kobayashi in competitive eating contests.
