Put on your coziest pajamas and ride Phoenix’s version of the Polar Express – Valley Metro Light Rail to Civic Space Park in downtown Phoenix for a holiday double feature. Disney’s “The Polar Express” starts at 6 p.m. with “Elf” following at 8 p.m. Enjoy a build-your-own hot chocolate bar from Fair Trade Café, a snack bar with candy and gourmet popcorn and the big guy himself, Santa, will even make an appearance.

APS Electric Light Parade: Saturday, December 6
A signature holiday event in Phoenix, the APS Electric Light Parade has dazzled Phoenicians for generations. The parade lights up central Phoenix with hundreds of thousands of lights from dozens of float entries. The parade begins on Central Avenue at Motebello, heads south on Camelback Road, where it turns east to 7th Street, turns south and ends at Indian School Road.

Experience Norway at MIM: Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7
Norwegian music and culture will fill the halls of the MIM this weekend featuring Scandinavian Folk dancers, live music, storytelling, craft activities, face painting and a Norwegian inspired menu at the museum café.
