Heard Museum World Championship Hoop Dance Contest

February 13-14

Through a rhythmic manipulation of colorful hoops (from as many as four to four dozen), native dancers craft symbolic shapes and animal designs in a one-of-a-kind storytelling sport: the hoop dance. Heard Museum’s annual competition brings together top contestants for two days of awe-inspiring performances.

Phoenix Chinese Week Culture and Cuisine Festival
