Alternative Black Friday Vintage Market: November 27
Skip the crowds and enjoy a day of shopping from local vendors at CityScape Phoenix’s annual alternative market. Vendors will sell a variety of makers’ goods, from jewelry, decor, and crafts to coffee and antiques. While you browse, enjoy something else you won’t find at any department store sale—Patriots Square will be filled with local beer and wine offerings, plus a mimosa bar.

Las Noches de Las Luminarias: November 27-December 31
It’s the first weekend of one of Phoenix’s most beloved holiday traditions at the Desert Botanical Garden. On select days until December 31, patrons are invited to take an evening stroll along paths lined with glowing luminaria bags and trees strung with thousands of sparkling lights. You’ll also encounter the sounds of musicians, from mariachi to Dickens carolers, performing throughout the Garden. Friday is already sold out, but as of posting this, tickets are still available for Saturday.

Ornament Marketplace: November 27-29
The Heard Museum Shop will fill with hundreds of tinkling silver trinkets, wood carvings and more handcrafted ornaments ready for you to take home to adorn your tree. All ornaments are created by American Indian artists, and make for excellent uniquely-themed holiday gifts.

Fantasy of Lights Parade: November 28
Enjoy a beautiful outdoor evening with family during Downtown Tempe’s annual light parade. Marching bands, performers and more than 40 floats decked in lights will fill the streets and precede the arrival of Santa Claus, the event’s special tree-lighting officiant.

Phoenix Flea Market: November 28
Local craftsmen are setting up shop at Historic Heritage Square for a day of vintage-picking at Phoenix Flea. Shoppers can expect everything from original paintings to clothes to collectibles sporting saguaros or Southwest-inspired patterns. It’s a great place to purchase a gift, home decor or incredible food truck waffles.
