This award-winning documentary film traces the evolution of cinema’s depiction of Native people through a century of motion pictures, from the silent film era to today. The narrative includes clips from hundreds of classic and recent Hollywood movies, and candid interviews with celebrated Native and non-Native film celebrities, activists, film critics, and historians. This film is the recipient of a Peabody Award, three Gemini awards, and Best Use of Footage in a Factual Production at the FOCAL International Awards. Seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Not rated.
