What: Arizona Cocktail Weekend will take over the entire Rise Uptown Hotel in Phoenix on Monday, October 4 from 6 – 9 pm for a one-night-only ‘Aperitivo’ cocktail event. Unspooling across the stylish, open-air grounds of this boutique mid-century modern property, attendees will be invited to sip and savor refreshing twists on classic poolside cocktails at Lylo Swim Club, enjoy sky-high high balls at the rooftop lounge, Don Woods’ Say When, or stroll the grassy lawns of the pop-up garden party. Sponsored by Beam Suntory, Diageo, and William Grant & Sons, tickets to the AZCW Aperitif event are only $20 (including cocktail samples and light bites), with all proceeds being donated to the Local First Arizona Foundation. Most important, this ‘Aperitivo’ event will serve as a tasty teaser for the highly anticipated 10th anniversary Arizona Cocktail Weekend, which has been rescheduled for February 19 – 21, 2022.
“We are so excited to partner with an amazing property like Rise Uptown Hotel to host this teaser ‘aperitivo’ version of Arizona Cocktail Weekend and help wet the whistle of local cocktail fans, while also showcasing this stunning property and its world-class bars and lounges right here in the heart of Phoenix,” says Arizona Cocktail Weekend co-founder, Damon Scott. “Between our top-flight sponsors going all out with exciting one-night-only pop-up experiences, and the talented lineup of bartenders whipping up innovative new drinks, this sure to be the fall’s can’t-miss cocktail event.”
Hosted at Rise Uptown Hotel, the AZCW ‘Aperitivo’ event will feature a pool party at Lylo Swim Club starring quaffable, dangerously refreshing Ketel One Botanical vodka cocktails (as well as the full food menu offered a la carte). Up at the rooftop lounge, Don Woods’ Say When, sip and savor modern twists on the classic high ball cocktail made with Jim Beam bourbon whiskey, and paired with spectacular 270-degree city views. Plus, don’t miss the pop-up garden party sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin and nestled amidst the grassy lawns and striking landscaping at this boutique hotel carved into a pair of restored mid-century modern towers.
