Sponsored by HistoricPhoenix.com, the tour will give attendees the opportunity to explore some of the most interesting historic and modern homes in this trending neighborhood. Unique among the historic neighborhoods, Coronado is home to both significant historic architecture as well as nationally recognized modern designs.
A street fair featuring around 80 local vendors offering handcrafted wares and vintage goods will be held in the Coronado Park. A beer garden with freshly crafted local beer from the award-winning local craft brewery, Huss Brewing Company, as well as food trucks and live music will give visitors a place to relax and enjoy the day. Entertainment will also include an adult obstacle course and a dunk tank featuring local politicians willing to take the plunge. The Kids Zone will include a petting zoo, balloon artist, and a bouncy house.
Parking will be available within the neighborhood and pedicabs will be on hand to get visitors to the homes. Bike racks will be available throughout the neighborhood and the Phoenix Police Department will also offer a bike registration event for those wishing to take advantage of the free, anti-theft service. The Coronado Block watch will also be offering Ring cameras and products at an exclusive discount.
The home tour and street fair will be open from 10am – 4pm. Advanced tickets are $15 for adults until February 23, tickets purchased the day of the event are $20. Children under 12 are free.
All proceeds from the tour go to support the Coronado Neighborhood Association, a non-profit that has served and protected Coronado for over 30 years.
