Overview
Location

Mozart’s legendary compositional facility was never more apparent than in his Thirty-Sixth Symphony, “Linz,” titled after the city in which he composed it hastily for an unplanned concert. Despite his haste, Mozart proved his mastery with rich, large-scale movements and a dazzling finale written to be performed as fast as possible. Contrasting the delicate elegance of Mozart is Tchaikovsky’s deeply romantic First Piano Concerto performed by Drew Peterson, praised for his commanding and poetic interpretations.
