Overview

Otsukimi, or Japanese Moonviewing, is a traditional Japanese celebration of the full moon. It is a unique, informative and intimate event. This honored tradition is celebrated at the garden every year and has consistently sold out.

The garden will be lit with candles and luminaries, please guests with entertainment from talented musicians, offer traditional food, and leave guests with a feeling that they were a part of something special. A traditional Japanese tea demonstration will also take place at an additional cost. Guests will be served authentic Japanese tea by tea ladies dressed in kimono in our tea garden. It is an experience that rarely takes place during regular operation hours. Space is limited. The cost for this demonstration is an additional $10.00 and is purchased at the event. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at an additional cost.
