Phoenix Center for the Arts provides arts and culture opportunities for all through education, programming, and advocacy. Located in downtown Phoenix since 1975, the Center has been a dynamic community resource for the visual and performing arts for the citizens of Phoenix, our surrounding neighborhoods, students, and artists.
The Center provides hands-on opportunities for all ages to participate in the visual and performing arts with year-round classes open to the public, covering artistic mediums from painting, metal-smithing, music, theatre, creative writing, and more. Offering youth arts camps, community outreach, and resident artists to schools, the Center is dedicated to providing arts experiences to any interested organization.
The Centers' Third Street Theater provides a stage for community-produced performances to reach audiences and share messages through art. A home for artists, both professional and just starting out, Phoenix Center for the Arts invites everyone to explore the arts at the Center. Take a class, attend a performance, or have the Center bring artists to you!
Phoenix Center for the Arts is also home to two of Phoenix's most beloved annual arts events, the Mayor's Arts Awards and Phoenix Festival of the Arts. More info at phoenixcenterforthearts.org.
