Spas & Health
Spas in greater Phoenix aren’t just known for overlooking the desert, they’re known for using the desert. Our destination spas use inspiration from the botanicals found in the local Sonoran Desert, as well as from the cultures and tribal lands that make up the fabric of Phoenix history.
The Aji Spa uses insight from Native American traditions for their treatments, including red clay from the Gila River and cholla cactus buds. There’s even a traditional roundhouse for guests to enjoy. At Agave Spa, the namesake plant is used in almost every treatment, most notably the blue agave paraffin wrap. The Willow Stream Spa’s design was based on the clear, blue water of Havasupai Falls at the Grand Canyon.
Of course, Phoenix is home to spas that take their cues from around the world, like the Joya Spa, which creates a Moroccan experience complete with Arizona’s only authentic Hammam. The Alvadora Spa is reminiscent of old world European luxury, and many of the treatments are available outside to take advantage of the manicured grounds and optimal weather.
The Joya Spa
The Joya Spa at the new Montelucia Resort is a Moroccan escape, including state’s only authentic Hammam.
