Why hold your meeting in Phoenix?
Affordability
-
Summertime brings big savings to Greater Phoenix's resorts and hotels, where rates are a fraction of peak rates. But guests can expect the same top-notch service and amenities.
Easy to get to
-
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport serves more than 100 domestic and international destinations. With 1,200 daily flights—about 500 of them nonstop—Sky Harbor is one of the most convenient airports in the United States, and it's located an easy 10-minute drive from downtown or a 20-minute ride on the Valley Metro Light Rail (which costs only $2 each way).
Safety
-
To ensure a safe downtown for both visitors and residents, Downtown Phoenix has a dedicated police force with two units—special events and street enforcement – called the Downtown Operations Unit (DOU). The DOU has expanded its bicycle fleet to increase its multi-modal presence and is building out a new headquarters at Civic Space Park, just a few short blocks from the Phoenix Convention Center. The Downtown Phoenix Partnership Ambassadors serve as “eyes and ears” for the DOU, and have a close working relationship with public safety officers and have radio connectivity day and night.
Convenience
-
Between hotels in downtown and those located minutes away along the light rail line, 3,000-4,000 committable rooms are available.
Dining
-
From affordable eateries, to grab-and-go convenience, to high-end restaurants, downtown meetings are supported by well more than 200 places to eat.
Diverse Venues
-
Southwestern experiences, desert gardens, sports venues and more: Greater Phoenix has an incredible spectrum of special event venues at your disposal, whether you've got a group of a few or a delegation of several thousand.
Family Fun
-
Hands-on fun is waiting to be had at the Arizona Science Center and Children's Museum of Phoenix, both located a short walk from the Phoenix Convention Center. Find more things to do all across Greater Phoenix with our family-friendly guide to Phoenix and our four-day family fun trip itinerary.
