Winter Events in Phoenix
Greater Phoenix enjoys blue skies and highs in the 60s and 70s during the winter months. Winter nights in the desert can get chilly, though the temperature rarely dips below freezing.
You'll find plenty of things to do in Phoenix during winter months: in December, the Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix Zoo, and more light up with events such as Las Noches de las Luminarias and Zoolights; in January, celebrity-owned classic cars hit the auction block at Barrett-Jackson, and the party kicks off at the 16th hole of the Waste Management Phoenix Open; and in February, Cactus League Spring Training starts, as well as the World Championship Hoop Dance Contest and the Devour Culinary Classic.
