Bachelorette Party Itinerary: A 2-Day Guide to Soaking up the Phoenix Sunshine

With its year-round sunshine, chic resorts and a buzzing after-dark scene, Phoenix has become one of the ultimate destinations for unforgettable bachelorette parties. Phoenix’s warm temps mean poolside lounging, and rooftop cocktails are almost always on the itinerary, while nearby Scottsdale offers a vibrant nightlife scene filled with trendy cocktail bars, dance clubs and live DJs. Add in luxury spas, top-tier restaurants and Instagram-worthy desert views, and Phoenix is the ideal place to celebrate a bride-to-be and her crew.

Day 1: Relaxed Luxury + Rooftop Night in Phoenix

Morning: Breakfast in the Great Outdoors

Start your bachelorette weekend itinerary with a picturesque breakfast under a canopy of pecan trees at The Farm at South Mountain. Morning Glory Cafe offers freshly baked pastries, seasonal omelets and house-smoked meats served outdoors in a shaded, garden setting. The vibe here is relaxed and charmingly rustic — the perfect way to ease into a day of desert relaxation.

If your group is the adventurous type, consider exploring the trails at South Mountain Park and taking in the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. Judith Tunnell Trail and Pima Wash Trail are two scenic, accessible and relatively short loops perfect for a post-brunch stroll.

Afternoon: Recharge at a Resort Spa

Spend the rest of the day lounging by a sparkling resort pool and indulging in spa treatments to suit everyone in the group. For a Mediterranean-style oasis, the Alvadora Spa at Royal Palms Resort boasts palm tree-lined courtyards, private cabana rentals and a poolside bar. Their desert-inspired facials and massages use native botanicals and classic techniques.

If your vibe is more Old Hollywood, Tierra Luna Spa at the Arizona Biltmore is an iconic destination. The property’s art deco architecture and sprawling gardens are the epitome of glamour. With seven to choose from, the Biltmore isn’t short on pools. Check out the adults-only Saguaro Pool for a chic hideaway. The spa blends body and soul healing with unique experiences like a mud and crystal bar, onsite astrologist, aromatherapy steam room, meditation garden and contrast bathing.

Evening: Downtown Dinner + Cocktails

Get your bachelorettes ready for an elevated evening in the city. Enjoy vibrant Mediterranean flavors and stunning views of Camelback Mountain from the rooftop dining room at Théa. Their menu features mezze platters inspired by Greece, Egypt and beyond, as well as one of the largest rosé collections in the country. Try to snag a reservation around sunset to soak up the pink, purple and burnished red hues of the desert landscape.

Downtown Phoenix is home to many swoon-worthy cocktail bars for after-dinner drinks. The historic Luhrs Building, once home to the former Arizona Prohibition Headquarters, now hosts Bitter & Twisted, a stylish bar that’s a mix of industrial design and plush elegance. No drink is standard here. Their award-winning cocktail program features surprising and playful flavors in every glass, plus a selection of punch bowl-style drinks for groups. Or stop into Little Rituals, a sophisticated cocktail lounge where every drink is poured with handcrafted infusions, high-quality spirits and meticulous technique.

Day 2: Sip, Savor & Party in Old Town Scottsdale

Morning: Brunch in Style

Scottsdale has everything from brunch to bottle service to top off your desert bachelorette weekend. First stop: a breakfast at Prado that takes your taste buds right to Andalusia, Spain with indulgent dishes like tortilla española and orange turrón pancakes. And don’t miss the pitchers of sangria or build-your-own Bloody Mary bar. If the weather is nice, opt for a seat on their patio for an Old-World courtyard ambiance and stellar mountain views.

Afternoon: Day Drinks in Old Town

Whether your vibe is sophisticated sipping or pub-crawl party, Old Town Scottsdale is where it’s at. Meander through the charming streets to some of our favorite wine bars, stopping into eclectic boutiques and art galleries along the way. Definitely don’t miss Wine Girl for the Instagram-worthy atmosphere and wine on tap, Carlson Creek for the local AZ pours from their art-gallery-turned-tasting-room, or The Wine Collective for their themed wine flights and charcuterie boards.

If an all-day party is more your speed, pedal your way through some of Scottsdale’s favorite bars with Arizona Party Bike. The pedal pub holds up to 14 people for a two-hour ride through Old Town where you’ll be able to pop into partner bars for VIP drink specials and cut the line. Plus, every bike is outfitted with a premium sound system, LED party lights, an electric helper motor and adult beverages allowed on board.

Night: Dinner + Dancing the Night Away

For dinner, head to The Canal Club, where the Caribbean flavors are playful yet satisfying, and the lush decor is Old Havana meets New Orleans. The restaurant is housed in The Scott Resort, a popular spot for photography, and for good reason. The tropical, retro style of the lobby offers a perfect backdrop for your bachelorette group photo.

When it comes to nightlife, Old Town has plenty to offer, all within a few blocks. After dinner, head to Beverly on Main for an upscale cocktail lounge with a more mellow mood or AZ88 for killer espresso martinis. If you’re looking for high-energy dancing and a party scene, you’ll find it at the southeast corner of Camelback and Scottsdale Roads, where popular bars like Bottled Blonde, Whiskey Row and Cake Nightclub draw huge crowds of locals, visitors and, of course, fellow bachelorettes.
