Bachelor Party Itinerary: A 2-Day Adventure Through the Best of Phoenix
Phoenix has become a hotspot for bachelor parties, offering sun-soaked adventures through the Sonoran Desert wilderness and an epic nightlife scene in the city. During the day, your crew can hit world-class golf courses, tear through trails on ATVs, sip on craft beers at local breweries or kick back by a resort pool with cold drinks in hand. When the sun goes down, the city comes alive with buzzing bars, venues and late-night clubs to keep the party going. Whether your group is seeking outdoor thrills, relaxation or a legendary night out, Phoenix delivers the perfect mix for your bachelor weekend. Cheers!
Day 1 — Desert Adventure + Craft Beer + Downtown Nightlife
Morning: Iconic Desert Adventure
If you need a little caffeine to fuel your morning escapades, check out our guide to the best coffee shops around the city.
Spend the morning exploring Arizona’s iconic Sonoran desert terrain in a whole new way — on an off-road ATV tour. Ideal for thrill seekers and nature lovers alike, Desert Monsters Tours takes riders through the rugged trails of Tonto National Forest, about 40 minutes north of Scottsdale. Or head to the nearby Bradshaw Mountains with Arizona Outdoor Fun, where you can opt for a guided tour or unguided vehicle rentals and try your hand at their private shooting range.
Afternoon: Lunch & Craft Beer Crawl
After your morning ride, your group will probably be ready to wet your whistle. Phoenix’s craft beer scene is booming with 100+ breweries to choose from, and Roosevelt Row in Downtown Phoenix is home to some of our favorites, all within a few steps of each other. Start at Arizona Wilderness Brewing Company where you can enjoy a grass-fed burger and duck fat fries along with your brew on their sprawling patio. Then head to Pedal Haus Brewpub, a local favorite serving up European-style beers. Next, don’t miss Greenwood Brewing’s impressive lineup of seasonal and experimental brews on tap, not to mention their fresh take on classics like the rosemary IPA and light lager.
Night: owntown Phoenix Tacos & Bar Hopping
Grab dinner at Huarachis Taqueria, which takes Sonoran street tacos to a new level. The vibe is quirky-cool with neon lights, pop art and an always-hot playlist. In a city full of great tacos, Huarachis’ hold up, but the main event here are the platters piled high with roasted meat plus ultra-flavorful salsas and sides like elote, fresh tortillas, crispy potatoes and killer beans that’ll feed 2-3. Or opt for the indulgent, loaded carne asada fries (just trust us).
Downtown Phoenix’s late-night scene turns electric with plenty of music venues, bars and clubs for post-dinner drinks. Must-hit stops for bachelor parties include The Pemberton, a large venue with 12 uniquely themed microbars; Barcoa for a flight of agave spirits in their basement lounge; Ghost Donkey for their standout mezcal and tequila cocktails; and Cobra, a nostalgic arcade bar that feels more like a nightclub as the evening goes on.
Day 2 — Resort Golfing + Pool Chilling + Scottsdale Party
Morning: Golfing with a View
Phoenix has certainly earned its reputation as a top golf destination with nearly 200 courses. From lush Sonoran Desert landscapes to classic resort fairways, there’s sure to be a course that fits your bachelor party’s mood and budget.
We love The Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in central Phoenix for its stately history and artfully designed grounds. You’ll be in good company here — U.S. Presidents and Hollywood celebrities are among the visitors who have played a round at The Arizona Biltmore. The vibe here is lush and luxurious. Or head to Scottsdale for Troon North Golf Club where the fairway is woven between the natural ravines and foothills of Pinnacle Peak. The property’s two 18-hole courses combine technical challenges with the awe of the surrounding desert landscape.
If you’re looking for a more affordable municipal course, Papago Golf Course delivers on all fronts. It’s scenic, competitive and centrally located. The course offers iconic views of the city from its strategic setting at the base of Papago Buttes and is rich with the boulders and native plants and wildlife that make Arizona unique.
Afternoon: Poolside Lounging
Indulge in a little R&R after your morning on the green. Greater Phoenix is home to countless luxury resort pools where your entire crew can enjoy a mid-day dip or a cocktail on the deck. For a real bachelor party vibe, we’d recommend the WET Deck at W Scottsdale or Hotel Valley Ho. For more mellow lounging, you can’t go wrong with the Arizona Biltmore, Boulders Resort & Spa or Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows.
Most of Phoenix’s resorts have day passes available to buy online that’ll give you access to their pools and other amenities.
Night: Old Town Scottsdale Party
Once the sun goes down, head to Old Town Scottsdale, where sexy restaurants and late-night bars keep the party going after-hours. Your crew has probably worked up an appetite, so start with dinner at Steak 44, a steakhouse that’s both classic and modern. The prime cuts never disappoint here, or opt for their fresh, responsibly sourced seafood. After you’ve gotten your fill (and maybe sampled some bourbon or scotch from their premium spirits list), cap off your bachelor party weekend with a full-throttle night out in Scottsdale.
For live DJs and high-energy dancing, look no further than the southeast corner of Camelback and Scottsdale Roads, where popular bars like Maya Nightclub, El Hefe and Whiskey Row draw huge crowds into the early hours of the morning.
