The Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA and CityScape Phoenix will transform Central Avenue into Urban H2Oasis outdoor waterpark from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. You're invited to slide down eight giant inflatable water slides, splash around the foam machine and enjoy a variety of other family-friendly activities for free (with a suggested $5 minimum cash donation). All proceeds will be donated to the Lincoln Family Downtown YMCA.

Arizona Science Center is celebrating one of the greatest human achievements in science: the 50th anniversary of human’s first steps on the moon. July 16 is the actual anniversary of the launch of the Saturn V rocket from Cape Kennedy carrying Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. But here, the commemoration of this historic mission will take place all month long and include space-themed programming, exhibits and events for all ages.
