PHX Arena
Back to Top of ListGame-changing renovations to PHX Arena a few years back turn up your game day intensity to 11. The arena is loud, decked out with the latest tech and has all the bells and whistles that amplify the Phoenix Suns energy. Sports fans are often welcomed by a booming drumline and hype team before they even enter the arena. Halftime entertainment draws from a diverse roster of acts. And regulars like the Suns’ Dancers and Go the Gorilla are dialed in with impressive routines.
Updated stadium seating means there isn’t a bad seat in the house. Plus suites offer seriously good spreads for groups. Updated amenities like tap-and-go self-service kiosks make for shorter lines and more game time. Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury owner Mat Ishbia, Major Food Group, and its co-founders Mario Carbone, Jeff Zalaznick, and Rich Torrisi introduced the The Ra Ra Room in late 2024. A one-of-a-kind experience that can only be found in Phoenix, the members-only private dining club features exquisite cuisine, a world-class wine list, a lavish pantry stocked with gourmet snacks, and a personal concierge, just steps from the Mercury and Suns locker rooms.
Whether you’re driving or taking public transportation, getting to the PHX Arena is convenient. If you’re driving, there are several parking structures nearby, though street parking can be limited. For those using the Valley Metro Light Rail, the 3rd St. and Washington St./Jefferson St. stops are right next to the arena. Fares from Valley Metro cover both buses and trains. Currently, an all-day ticket will run you $4.00.
Pro tip: Games in February and March offer the perfect opportunity for a self-made doubleheader with Cactus League Spring Training. Catch a baseball day game and evening basketball game.
