Mesa Easter Pageant

The Mesa Easter Pageant, “Jesus the Christ” — the largest annual outdoor Easter pageant in the world — resumes this spring on the north lawn of the Mesa Arizona Temple. This community tradition began in 1938 by a group of young people who gathered at the temple for an Easter Sunrise Service and has grown over eight decades to a spectacular production with a 400+member costumed cast, music, dance, drama, live animals, and special effects, all performed on a massive four-story-high stage. Free admission. No tickets required. Self-parking is limited. Light rail transportation is encouraged. Come early to secure a seat.

The Easter fun keeps going onboard with a presentation of the winner-take-all jellybean counting contest winner by the Rare Rabbit himself. On board the train, adults can enjoy a spring-fresh Bloody Mary bursting with so many vegetables a rabbit would love it.
