2026 NCAA Women’s Final Four in Phoenix

In spring 2026, Phoenix will host the NCAA Women’s Final Four for the first time, with Arizona State University serving as the host school. The competition will tip off with two national semifinal games at PHX Arena on Friday, April 3, followed by the national championship game on Sunday, April 5.

With beautiful spring weather and the culmination of the NCAA women’s basketball season, Phoenix has a lot to offer visitors — both on and off the court. Discover top things to do around town, places to stay, and incredible Phoenix eats for when you’re not screaming in the stands.

The semifinal and national championship games will take place at downtown Phoenix’s PHX Arena (formerly known as Footprint Center). The stadium underwent game-changing renovations a few years ago to make for a high-tech, high-energy game day. Plus, updated stadium seating, group suites, and tap-and-go self-service kiosks mean more comfort and more game time.

PHX Arena is located near several paid parking garages and is easily accessed using the Valley Metro Light Rail for those looking to ditch the car. The 3rd St. and Washington St./Jefferson St. stops are right next to the arena, and an all-day ticket will run you just $4.
