Denū Hotel & Spa - Phoenix

A new Meritage Collection hotel has broken ground in the heart of downtown Phoenix. This new 236 room, 17-floor lush oasis will offer stunning views of the city skyline and ample amenities for both business and leisure travelers. This includes 23,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, a ground floor restaurant, and a rooftop pool bar and cafe. This will also be the first hotel property in downtown Phoenix to offer a full-service spa with a full slate of wellness treatments and packages. Denū plans to welcome guests by the end of 2026.   

 

VAI Resort - Glendale

With an impressive 1,100 rooms, suites, and villas, 12 signature restaurants, a premium spa, a nightclub, theater, and curated retail, VAI Resort will be the biggest and boldest of its kind. Visitors will also be able to toast at the 130-foot-high Konos Sky Bar, find thrills at Mattel Adventure Park, and catch show-stopping entertainment at the 11,000-seater VAI Amphitheater. VAI plans to announce the opening date approximately nine months in advance.

 

The Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley, The Palmeraie - Paradise Valley

Nestled amid lush, oasis-like gardens overlooking Camelback Mountain, The Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley, The Palmeraie is the definition of a modern luxury resort. The property will feature garden-to-table restaurants, a stunning 400-foot pool, 60 high-end retailers, unparalleled accommodations ranging from cozy casitas to opulent estate homes, plus 20,000 square feet of event space perfect for weddings and work gatherings.

Pure Pickleball - Scottsdale

Pickleball has been heating up the past few years, nowhere more than in Scottsdale. Pure Pickleball — set to open in 2027 — will be one of the most extensive pickleball facilities in the world and home to the national governing body, USA Pickleball. The facility will host 28 oversized indoor courts and a first-of-its-kind Championship Court with a 500-seat stadium. Other developments to come include rooftop play spaces, on-site dining, childcare, a gym, and a pro shop.

 

Cactus Surf Park - Gilbert

Cactus Surf Park is designed with water conservation and efficiency top of mind. The state-of-the-art recreational water park will offer a surf lagoon, sand beach, kayak, canoe, and paddle board rentals, yoga classes, a standalone flow surf pool, cabanas, and family play areas. Plus, the park will sponsor water safety and conservation education as part of its commitment to sustainability. Cactus Surf Park's opening date is yet to be announced.

Pablo's

Opening in early 2026, Pablo’s will be an immersive nightlife destination bringing vibrant energy and artistry to downtown Phoenix. Housed in a reimagined 1952 Spanish-style building, the venue features a collection of lively spaces, including three distinctive bars, intimate lounges, a central courtyard, and Night Tiger, a high-energy nightclub built for dancing into the early hours. Each room offers its own personality, blending Mexican-inspired design with inventive cocktails crafted by Barter & Shake Creative Hospitality. Serving mezcal and mischief in equal measure, Pablo’s promises an unforgettable night of connection, curiosity, and discovery. 

 

International Dark Sky Discovery Center - Fountain Hills

Development is underway at the International Dark Sky Discovery Center, a 22,000-square-foot science facility that will invite visitors to find inspiration in the night sky. The center will provide a variety of educational activities and interactive experiences. The center, set to open 2026, will be home to the largest telescope in the Greater Phoenix area and will feature a Hyperspace Planetarium and Night Sky Experience Exhibit Hall. 

 

The Rush Funplex

The Rush Funplex is all about family fun. With thrilling rides, bowling, laser tag, go karts, bumper cars, foam pits, a rock-climbing wall, and classic arcade games, the fully-indoor facility will feature a variety of attractions. The 75,000 square-foot complex will offer affordable hourly and daily passes that include access to all attractions. The first Valley location is set to open in Goodyear in Q2 2026, and the second is set to open in Laveen in December 2026.

 

The Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center 

The Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center's mission is to teach about the Holocaust with the goal of inspiring students and other visitors to become advocates that act toward a world without hatred. Through interactive exhibits and personal stories, the center will honor the memory of the 6 million who perished and celebrate the resilience and courage of the survivors. The HFHEC is expected to open by April 2027.

 

Mattel Adventure Park - Glendale

Mattel Adventure Park will be Arizona’s first themed indoor/outdoor amusement park. The entertainment destination will welcome guests 365 days a year and bring to life iconic Mattel toy franchises, immersing guests in both childhood nostalgia and epic thrills. Two fully themed Hot Wheels roller coasters and a life-sized Barbie Beach House are among the highlights coming to the park. Mattel Adventure Park, along with VAI Resort, plans to announce the opening date approximately nine months in advance.

Retail Therapy - Greenwood Brewing - Phoenix

Retail Therapy AZ introduced a new location at the incredible former Made Art Boutique space in November 2025. With over 300 local businesses supported at five locations across the Valley, Retail Therapy is a one-stop shop for souvenirs and essentials. Dorrance Planetarium - Phoenix

Arizona Science Center recently opened its reimagined Dorrance Planetarium in partnership with leading immersive tech company Cosm, in October 2025. The planetarium is the most technologically advanced in all North America, featuring an 18-meter diameter, CX System LED dome display with 8K+ resolution and 100x the brightness of most planetarium projection domes using Cosm’s CX System. 

 

The REMI Scottsdale, an Autograph Collection Hotel - Scottsdale

The REMI Scottsdale, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is the newest addition to Scottsdale’s dynamic Entertainment District. Blending refined design with lively energy, the boutique-style property offers a fresh destination for business, leisure, and celebration. Highlights include Scottsdale’s tallest rooftop pool with panoramic views, five distinctive dining venues, and elegantly curated accommodations featuring modern amenities and desert-inspired style. Opened in July 2025, The REMI stands steps away from premier shopping, nightlife, and attractions, redefining luxury in the heart of Scottsdale. 

 

Taroko Sports - Mesa

Taroko Sports, a Taiwanese-based entertainment company, has expanded into Arizona with two new locations in Mesa and Chandler! These venues will feature a variety of attractions, including batting cages, a pitching mound, HitTrax swing suite, electronic darts, miniature bowling, and an arcade. The Mesa location opened in July 2025, while the Chandler location opened in November 2025. 

 

Activate - Scottsdale

Activate isn't a black and white experience. Every decision is yours to make, giving you the ability to create a custom action-packed pursuit. Select a room, pick a game, choose your difficulty, and enter the game, where you become the player in the world's first active gaming facility! Each dynamic game room has interactive technology that reacts in real time, ensuring an adrenaline-filled adventure. Activate Scottsdale officially opened in June 2025.

 

The Pemberton - Phoenix

Popular food, retail, art and entertainment hub, The Pemberton, returned to downtown Phoenix in March 2025. It will feature vintage trailers that will be used as kitchens and bars, murals from local artists and will now have various dining options. Guests will be transported through different atmospheres with its various zones that will have controlled music to match the setting to make it a sensory experience. After being greeted by Icelandic campground, other areas to explore include an Italian beach club, Tokyo Alley, Dia de los Muertos, and the 1960s Palm Springs resort-style club. 

 

Cannon Beach - Mesa

Cannon Beach opened in December 2024 as a 37-acre entertainment center and includes 500,000 square feet of restaurants, retail shops, a 17-foot cliff-diving lagoon, a KTR Action Sports playground, a skate park, volleyball, and smashball courts, and a beach themed splash pad. It also features two onsite hotels, Aloft Hotel by Marriott and a 4-star Cannon Beach-branded hotel that is inspired by beach towns in Southern California and Hawaii. The centerpiece of the park is the 4.5-acre water park, Revel Surf, which has a lagoon that produces waves in various shapes and sizes. The 650,000-gallon Unity Surf Pool will generate stationary surfing waves.
